Tyvek® is a 100% high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fabric formed of submicron filaments that are bounded by heat and pressure. Lightweight, thin and flexible, Tyvek® is also the toughest, most abrasion resistant material available. It offers a dry particle barrier and is proven to be a superior hold against the passage of microorganisms. Tyvek's® unique property allows air and water vapor to pass through, while it blocks the movement of particles. And because of it's low lint properties, Tyvek® protects against fiber contamination in your cleanroom environment.
Only Tyvek® is veresitile enough to be used in everything from manufacturing room floors to high tech cleanrooms. It can even be gamma sterilized for added protection. When it comes to cleanroom garment fabric, nothing else performs like genuine Tyvek® .
