190D is a UV curable coating designed for dip applications. The coating imparts superior abrasion and chemical resistance and can be applied to polycarbonate and PMMA substrates. 190D is non-tintable and optically clear. It is ideal for ophthalmic lens applications and other applications requiring optical clarity and abrasion resistance.

Bayer Ratio : 1.5 – 2.0
Adhesion :  Passes 3 hour boiling water test with no Adhesion loss
Tint (BPI Black at 205F)
% Light Transmission after 15 min : Non-tintable
Post tint adhesion : 100%

Application Guidelines

Dip :    

Wash                          Wash in neutral solution. No etching required.
Soak Time                 15 seconds
Draw Speed              5”/minute (127 mm/minute)
Solvent Flash            10 minutes ambient air or 1 minute IR
Cure                            2 feet per minute with Fusion F300 H+ bulb
