旋寶好公司橡膠奈米複合水性塗料，不含揮發性有機溶劑成分(VOCs)，其特點在於將原來微米級的蛭石粉體(vermiculite)充分奈米化分散於丁基橡膠乳膠(Latex)基材中,使其發揮透氣性低、耐熱性、耐候性、耐臭氧性、耐酸鹼與耐溶劑性、電絕緣性與減震性等優點。
由於橡膠或彈性體分子具有充分柔軟性與容易扭動特性(所以玻璃轉移溫度較低)，造成氣體或液體分子容易滲透而造成漏氣消風現象，雖然過去藉由增加材料厚度或補強填充料等方式也可以減低滲透速率，但是難免伴隨著剛性提高、彈性降低、硬度增大等問題，所以利用InMat之少量黏土奈米化分散後，層狀結構片狀粉體呈現高長厚比(Aspect
ratio)之特性，可以阻止氣體直接穿越高分子間之奈米級空隙(Void)，氣體需繞過片狀黏土區域，達到延緩氣體滲透速率功能。
Air D-Fense 2000 is an environmentally-friendly, aqueous
suspension of nanodispersed silicates and butyl rubber. It is
used as a barrier coating and can be applied to various
elastomeric substrates via spray or dip coating processes. Air
D-Fense 2000 has the secondary properties of butyl rubber
which may be important in the application, such as low
temperature flexibility and capability to be cured at high
temperatures.
